The Panda King is one of the most popular hobby isopods, and for good reason. With a bit of imagination, its appearance resembles a panda; it is easy to care for and makes an incredibly good hobby animal. The only downside to this species is that it does not breed very quickly, which is also the reason it is often a bit expensive to acquire.

Cubaris sp. "Panda King" originates from humid caves in Vietnam, and it is actually not that long ago that it was first discovered. This is also why it has not yet received an official scientific name.

Just like Armadillidium species, this species can also roll itself into a round ball :)
