Make treating with nematodes significantly easier with the Aquanemix nematode sprayer. Aquanemix connects directly to the garden hose and ensures that the nematode solution is automatically mixed with the water while you water.

This makes it particularly suitable for distributing nematodes over larger areas such as lawns, flower beds, and areas around shrubs and trees, where applying with a regular watering can can quickly become both time-consuming and cumbersome.

Aquanemix can be used again and again, making it a practical tool if you regularly use nematodes for biological pest control in the garden.

How Aquanemix works

The principle is simple. The nematodes are mixed into 1 liter of water, and the solution is poured into the Aquanemix container. The container is then connected directly to the garden hose.

When you start watering, Aquanemix automatically doses approx. 2% of the solution from the container along with the water from the garden hose. Therefore, you do not have to walk back and forth with several filled watering cans to distribute the nematodes over a larger area.

In about 4–5 minutes of watering, approx. 25 m² can be treated, which makes the work significantly faster on larger areas.

Ideal for larger areas

Aquanemix is especially practical for treating areas of more than approx. 50 m², where manual application would otherwise require large amounts of water and many trips with a watering can.

It is suitable, among other things, for applying nematodes against:

• Vine weevil larvae
• Crane fly larvae
• Garden chafer larvae
• Other pests in lawns and flower beds where suitable nematodes are used

It is always the specific type of nematode that determines dosage, time of treatment, temperature requirements, and which pests can be controlled. Therefore, always follow the instructions for the nematodes you are using.

How to use Aquanemix

Mix the relevant portion of nematodes with 1 liter of water according to the instructions for the specific nematode product.

Pour the mixture into the Aquanemix container, connect the garden hose, and begin watering. Move systematically across the area to be treated so that the nematodes are distributed as evenly as possible.

Aquanemix can also be used with clean water before and after the actual treatment. This is practical because many nematodes require moist soil before application and subsequent watering to flush them into the soil.

Why use a nematode sprayer?

Nematodes are microscopic living organisms that are watered into the soil, where they seek out specific pest larvae. When treating individual pots or small flower beds, a regular watering can works fine, but on a large lawn, the amount of water required can make the job extensive.

With Aquanemix, the nematodes can instead be applied directly with the garden hose. This makes it easier to treat large areas and at the same time achieve a good and even distribution.

Important regarding treatment with nematodes

Aquanemix makes the application itself easier, but a good result still depends on the conditions being suitable for the nematode species you are using.

The soil usually needs to be moist, and many treatments require it to be kept moist in the days following application. Temperature and time of year can also be absolutely crucial. Nematodes against vine weevils and crane fly larvae, for example, must be used at specific times when the susceptible larval stages are present in the soil.

Therefore, always read the instructions for the individual nematode product before treatment.
