Squirrel

Bring the forest into your living room with Plant Animals.

The squirrel sits with its bushy tail, nibbling on a pinecone held between its small paws. All you need to do is place it in a potted plant and give it some nuts.

The squirrel lives in forests throughout most of Europe, but it is also found further east in the temperate forests of Asia and Japan. It is common in Denmark and comes in several color variations, such as red, brown, and black. They feed primarily on conifer seeds, and during a walk through a Danish conifer plantation in the autumn and winter, it is easy to find many traces of a squirrel that has been sitting and nibbling a pinecone into small pieces.
