Bumblebee (postcard)
Write a beautiful, personal note with one of these seed cards, which will bring joy by later blooming in the home. The illustration is printed on handmade, cream-colored recycled paper embedded with wildflower seeds. Naturally, a beautiful, sturdy envelope made of recycled paper is included.
The common eastern bumblebee (Bombus impatiens) is the most common bumblebee found in North America. It is a significant pollinator here and is used commercially in greenhouses for crop pollination. In general, bumblebees, like honeybees, have been spread to several continents by humans to provide the benefit of crop pollination.
To plant the seed card, cover it with 3 mm of soil, place it in the sun, and keep it moist until the seeds have established small sprouts. Then it is simply time to enjoy one of the world's little miracles by watching these sprouts develop into flowers.
