Northern Saw-whet Owl (postcard)
Write a beautiful personal note with one of these seed cards, which will bring joy by later blossoming in the home. The illustration is printed on handmade, cream-colored recycled paper embedded with wildflower seeds. Of course, a beautiful sturdy envelope made of recycled paper is included.
The northern saw-whet owl (Aegolius acadicus) is often found in thickets in coniferous or mixed forests in North America. At times, it is also found in the transition zone between water and land, because there is often an abundance of prey there. It is a small owl that sometimes has to be careful not to end up as prey for a larger bird of prey.
To plant the seed card, it should be covered with 3 mm of soil, placed in the sun, and kept moist until the seeds have established small sprouts. Then it is simply time to enjoy one of the world's small miracles by watching these sprouts develop into flowers.
