Dandelion (postcard)
Write a beautiful personal card with one of these seed cards, which will bring joy by later blooming at home. The illustration is printed on handmade, cream-colored recycled paper embedded with wildflower seeds. A beautiful, sturdy recycled paper envelope is, of course, included.
The dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) is a plant often spoken ill of. Every year, I am told to go out into my grandmother's garden and pull them up by the root! I think it's a bit of a shame, because if you just take the time to observe this flower, you see how many insects pay a short visit to its yellow hat. It even blooms continuously throughout the summer, and when it goes to seed, there are the loveliest heads of little parachutes to blow at - what magic. That said, you have to be careful that it doesn't take over the garden, as it is good at spreading its seeds and taking root. Let us just live in balance and perhaps start calling it by its more elegant name, as it is quite a little fighter.
To plant the seed card, it must be covered with 3 mm of soil, placed in the sun, and kept moist until the seeds have established small sprouts. Then it is simply time to enjoy one of the world's little miracles by watching these sprouts develop into flowers.
