Ficus plants (or figs) are a very large group of plants, ranging from climbers to shrubs and trees. These species originate from the tropical regions of East Asia. There, they live in humid environments, but in soil with good drainage. This soil is custom-made to replicate exactly that. Coconut husks and perlite give the roots extra space. Horticultural sand provides extra drainage, and the activated charcoal prevents mold and rot, keeping the soil fresh.

Care tips for Ficus plants
Most Ficus species do not like direct sunlight, as it will "burn" the leaves. Many also do not like temperatures below 15 degrees and prefer shelter from the wind. To increase humidity, you can spray the plants with a water mister (preferably using lime-free water). Since most species are fast-growing, there is a need for a good supply of nutrients during the growing season. The soil should preferably dry out slightly between waterings.
