The flowers can reach a diameter of up to 15 cm and have a silky texture with fine, characteristic hairs.

Stapelia leendertziae is a perfect addition to a greenhouse or a warm living room, as it requires a minimum temperature of 10°C to thrive. Its unique scent and eye-catching flowers will undoubtedly attract attention and admiration from both guests and plant enthusiasts.

This plant is not only an aesthetic wonder but also a relatively easy species to grow, provided you have the right temperature and a suitable growing location.

Seed germination

Soak in lukewarm water for 24 hours. Then sow the seeds in moist seed compost or cactus soil. Cover with a fine layer of sand. Alternatively, you can place the seeds between moist paper towels, which are then placed in a sealed bag. Place in a bright and warm location.

Plant in a pot with good succulent and cactus soil.
