Sweet granadilla is a beautiful passion flower plant that can grow large and lush. In this country, however, it is grown in pots and does not grow quite as large. In conservatories, it can truly thrive. It must overwinter in a bright and warm location.

Germination of seeds

Pour lukewarm water over the seeds and then let them soak for 24 - 48 hours. Sow the seeds in damp seed compost or cactus soil. Alternatively, you can place the seeds between damp paper towels, which are then placed in a sealed bag. Place in a bright and warm spot.

Passion flower seeds can generally take a long time to germinate. You can try to speed up the process by carefully rubbing the seeds with a nail file or fine sandpaper before soaking them.

Childcare

Plant in a pot that can be moved in and out depending on the weather.
