Raccoon

Bring the forest into your living room with Plant Animals.

The little rascal sneaks along the stems of your houseplants in search of its next snack, but don’t worry, it won’t be raiding your trash can in the dark hours of the night.

The raccoon originates from North and Central America, but during the 20th century, raccoons have both been released and escaped from farms. As a result, the raccoon has established itself in Europe, but there is not yet an established population in Denmark. It prefers to live in deciduous forests near water and have dens in old trees. It is nocturnal and can both climb and swim.
