A beautiful orange variant of the popular and easy-to-keep smooth woodlouse (Porcellio laevis). Like many of the other variants, such as the "Dairy Cow", this is an easy and fast-growing species. The color is a vibrant orange, somewhat reminiscent of the orange Cuban woodlice. However, this species grows somewhat larger.

It reproduces quickly, reaches a decent size, and is quite hardy. This makes it very popular both as a feeder insect and as a "clean-up crew" in bioactive terrariums and together with other exotic pets.
