Zebra isopod (Armadillidium maculatum) | 12 pcs.

• Latin name: Armadillidium maculatum

• Danish name: Zebra woodlouse, zebra isopod

• English name: Zebra isopod, zebra pillbug

The zebra woodlouse originates from southern France and gets its name from its black and white stripes. It is a very beautiful woodlouse (isopod) that requires slightly high humidity, but is otherwise cared for like many other woodlice.

Armadillidium species are characterized or known for being able to roll themselves into a round ball. Armadillidium maculatum can also do this :)
