Bumble bee millipede (Anadenobolus monilicornis)

The beautiful Bumble-bee millipede originates from Central America. Its appearance is very distinctive, and it is considered one of the most beautiful millipedes. Its legs and antennae are red, and its body is a beautiful silver/black with lovely yellow stripes.

It is an easy little millipede and is considered a good beginner animal. Set up the terrarium with a 5 cm (or more) layer of soil (preferably our premium terrarium soil). In one corner, it is advantageous to place a layer of sphagnum moss that is kept constantly moist. Decorate the terrarium with withered leaves, branches, and pieces of bark. The substrate should be kept moderately moist. Also, remember calcium supplement. Feed with fish food, oatmeal, fruit, and vegetables (not too much at a time, to prevent rotting).

It is recommended to add a "cleanup crew" to the terrarium in the form of springtails, small tropical isopods, or unicorn snails. They help keep the terrarium clean.
